Project Specific Safety Training
In order to completely prepare for all projects, W. L. French Excavating Corporation approaches new work sites by analyzing the conditions under which employees will be working. If there are potential risks, such as high-tension wires, hazardous materials, etc. W.L. French Excavating Corporation employees receive specific training in how to best approach the project and adapt to the added ris.

On-Site OSHA Inspections
W. L. French Excavating Corporation includes independent 'mock' OSHA inspections for all site projects. On a random basis, Excellence in Safey, Inc. conducts these undisclosed inspections and reports back to the Vice President of Operations and The President. Each crew is then informed of the safety inspection and its report; any suggestions to make the project(s) safer by Excellence In Safety, Inc. are immediately implemented.

Company wide, the number one priority at W. L. French Excavating Corporation is a comprehensive Hazardous Materials Health and Safety program. Our company is committed to providing a work environment in which its employees and subcontractors can safely deliver high quality services to all its clients.

DRUG FREE ENVIRONMENT
W. L. French Excavating Corporation strictly enforces a zero drug and alcohol tolerance policy. Random drug testing, conducted by Foley Services, enables the company to maintain a drug-free work environment and ensures employee competence on each project.

SAFETY TRAINING
All employees are OSHA Forty-Hour Hazwoper Certified and trained in OSHA, DEP, DOT, State, and Federal regulations and are committed to safeguarding these regulations on the job. All active field employees are certified in the mandated OSHA Ten-Hour training. Employees in levels of management are trained and certified as 'Competent Persons'. Trench Box Safety, Confined Space Training, Asbestos Training, First Aid, CPR, and AED training are some examples of courses that employees at W. L. French Excavating Corporation have fulfilled. W. L. French Excavating Corporation firmly believes in continuing education and safety awareness; it is essential in order to provide a safe environment.

TOOL BOX MEETINGS
Each week at every project site, supervisors conduct mandatory safety meetings covering topics that stress the importance of safety measures, general awareness, site specific hazards, and updated equipment information.
