Wreaths Across America
REMEMBER our fallen U.S. veterans
HONOR those who serve
TEACH your children the value of freedom
This year, WLF is taking part in Wreaths Across America – an amazing organization that brings so much to the community and to our Veterans. First and foremost, our Veterans are honored and remembered during the holiday season in an incredible way. It is a way for members of our community to come together and to participate in showing respect for and remembering the lives of those who have served and died for our country. It also serves as an enormous opportunity to teach the next generation about the service and sacrifice of those before us. This is a very important cause and the values that WAA shares to “Remember, Honor, and Teach” can be shared and continue to be instilled in our community and beyond as we participate in this event. As Ronald Reagan said, “Freedom is never more than one generation from extinction.”
WLF’s desire to partake in this event is rooted in our family history and our deep respect for our military service members and Veterans. WAA is a program that we hold in high regard and look forward to embracing as we become fully involved in its mission.
This December, we plan to place wreaths on all Veteran gravestones at our local cemeteries. But we need your help to make this happen. Please visit our WAA page here and help out by sponsoring a wreath for our fallen heroes.
